We’ve got a couple of obvious winners on the tasting table this weekend including a long-time favorite value Bordeaux and the newest release of our best-selling rosé of all time. Beyond that, we’ll be spending time in some not-so-familiar nooks and crannies of the wine world (Tasmania in Australia and Champlitte in France) and sharing a wine grown one place (Washington) and bottled another (Paso Robles). But all are delicious!

Join us from 3-7 on Friday and noon-4pm on Saturday to sample:

Ch Les Valentines Rose Cotes De Provence La Landone 2022 – The finest vintage yet of our all-time best-selling Provençal pink. Ripe, creamy, flavorful, dry rosé from within sight of the Mediterranean Sea.

Devil’s Corner Chardonnay Tasmania 2021 – Compelling no-oak Chardonnay with a Chablis-like minerality and plenty of crisp, green, fruit with 92 points Wine Spectator and sub-$20 price point – all from Tasmania!

Dom De La Paturie Pinot Noir Champlitte Par Amour 2019 – The region is obscure, but the wine’s delicious! Loads of ripe red berry fruit, a strong dash of minerality and generous finish, all at just 12.0% alcohol.

Ch Moulinat Bordeaux 2020 – The best vintage yet of this long-time favorite of our team, the Washington Post, and wine-lovers like you! Wonderfully rich this year with complexity that outstrips the very modest price.

Barter & Trade Cabernet Sauvignon Washington State 2020 – The logistics are confusing (Columbia Valley Cab bottled in Paso), but the wine is terrific with big black currant fruit and plenty of spice.

We’ll have some treats from the cheese case out to try with the wines and best six/12 bottle savings available on a mix/match basis during both days’ tastings. Looking forward to seeing you there!
