A celebration of the life & literary work of Scottish writer and poet Robert Burns, Citizen's Burns Night is an evening of spirited songs & readings, traditional bagpipe music from celebrated piper Coreyanne Armstrong, a whole hog feast, and a tasting through five whiskys from Bowmore and Laphroaig. We will focus on the "Elements of Islay" during this dinner - peat, fire & salt - which will be woven into the menu and evening's celebrations.

Our host Simon Brooking, an Edinburgh native, member of the Robertson Clan and Senior Ambassador of Scotch Heritage at Beam Suntory, will act as our guide through traditional poems and songs, as well as the ceremonial cutting of the hog.

The menu includes Citizen's take on Scottish haggis (the HOGgis pig roast), traditional Scottish sides like neeps & tatties, cocktails, whisky drams, dessert & more.
