The Taste Map of the Tongue You Learned in School Is All Wrong....Modern biology shows that taste receptors aren’t nearly as simple as that cordoned-off model would lead you to believe. We don't all have sections of our tongue mapped to taste sour, sweetness, etc. The buds are all over the place.
So, ignore the outdated science and join Rich to get a taste of where and how you taste acidity, sugars, and tannins. He will get specific ingredients to isolate your senses so that you can get a better idea as to how to interpret what is acidic versus tart, versus sweet versus tannic.
We will also taste some wines once you are all 'edumicated' and there will be some bites to accompany all the learning. Your wine club discount applies at checkout.
