Learn how to make delicious, Argentine style empanadas from scratch with Chef Katriel, owner and founder of Nativo Spices!
CLASS DESCRIPTION:

Step into the heart of Argentine culture with this hands-on cooking class dedicated to the beloved empanada. Guided by Chef Katriel, owner of Nativo Spices and Tango Pastry, you’ll learn the secrets behind crafting the perfect pastry dough and preparing traditional fillings—from the classic empanada mendocina (his grandmas recipe, by the way!) to other favorites like ham and cheese, there’s something for everyone.

Discover the history, master the art of the signature repulgue (folding technique), and enjoy your creations fresh. Whether you’re a seasoned cook or a curious foodie, this immersive experience is a delicious way to connect with Argentina’s rich culinary heritage.

MEET THE MAKER:

We work with first quality ingredients. The style of the spices is strongly influenced by the Argentine origin of owner and Chef Katriel Menendez. As he has traveled to different parts of the world, the flavors offered by Nativo have certainly expanded.

The Argentine Chef took the fruitful work of integrating both the Argentine culture, as well as the other flavors of the world, to the creation of the spices.
