We are very excited to announce our next dinner series! We'll feature three evenings in a row, including the final evening at our Newport Beach location! For our June series, we're thrilled to announce a fantastic line up of 5 small production wines from Paso Robles' Lone Madrone. Starting out in 1996 as a single cabernet side-project for Neil Collins (while leading the winemaking at Tablas Creek), Lone Madrone has exponentially grown. Teaming up with his sister, Jackie Meisinger in 2003, the winery has continued to see steady growth and acclaim over the past 20 years. Though Neil continues his winemaking and vineyard management rolls at Tablas Creek, family reinforcements have allowed for Lone Madrone to keep its trajectory. After growing up in the wine world, both Neil and Jackie's children are now involved in the day to day operations of the winery. Lucas Meisinger, Lone Madrone's National Sales Representative, will be joining us for the evening to share his family's exceptional wines and discuss the winery's storied past. To showcase these wines, Chef Erin has created an elevated, seasonal pairing menu. You won't want to miss this memorable evening of wine, food and conversation!
Each selection will be paired with its own wine inspired dinner course, prepared by Chef Erin Sealy. Chef Erin specializes in pairing food with wine, with a slightly different approach than most. Prior to creating a menu, each wine is tasted and reviewed and then she creates a food pairing, highlighting the nuances of each wine. This concept creates a dinner and pairing experience with layers of complexity and unique creations which exemplify the enjoyment of each wine. With a passion for food and wine, Chef Erin delights attendees with a detailed account of the pairing concept and cooking techniques that create each course.
