Locus Wine Academy presents a new series, Locus Versus. We will taste various world wines and compare them to Locus Wines. It is not a competition but we hope to win. The idea is that we will pick wine regions from the rest of the world where you can find similar profile wines, or at least the same set of grapes, flavors, etc.
This versus fight is against South America, more specifically Chile. Bring on the Cabernets, Sauvignon Blanc! Some other rarities as well. We will open bottles of wine that truly represent California and then we will compare them with what we produce here with Washington fruit. We will pair them with food so you can get a comprehensive picture of what these wines have to offer.
