Our fall dinner series is “falling into place” and JAR is one of LA’s great dining destinations…. So they are dinner number 1!
LearnAboutWine returns to this fantastic restaurant for another extraordinary effort - a blind tasting of 100 point wines with a 5-course dinner. The 100 Point Dinner features 21 wines between 100 and 98 points and will be paired with a 5 course dinner. All wines will be tasted blind, 3 at a time and revealed after guests vote for their favorites! The question is - which 100 point wine did they prefer? Where is it from and can you guess which wine it is? Take advantage of this rare opportunity to taste “perfect” wines side by side with a delicious dinner prepared by the iconic Jar Chef/Owner Suzanne Tracht. This event is limited so get tickets here before they sell out! We take a $100 deposit and then post the final payment when the dinner has enough support.
When a wine is rated 97-100 points; it joins an elite list of wines at the top of the charts. An A+ rating means its one of the best that exists. Join us as we taste 21 wines blind, 3 at a time with an amazing meal. You will pick your favorite of the flight and then see if you can figure out - is it a top rated Cabernet? Syrah? Sangiovese? Shiraz? A Blend? and which? There are no bad wines allowed at this rare tasting... I will dare to say - this is so much more enlightening than our Cab dinners where we taste 21 wines that are all good but you can barely notice the difference.... you will see and taste and feel the difference here for sure. Taste $8,000 at Retail or $16000 at Restaurant value.
