This isn’t a quiet dinner.

This is a Kentucky Derby night at Belmont… where you grab a drink, settle in, and end up talking with people you didn’t come with. A little loud, a little chaotic, and a lot of fun.

Alongside it, I’ll be running a 4-course pairing built around some Derby-inspired dishes I’ve been working on (and reworking… and second-guessing). Each course is paired with a beer meant to bring the whole thing together.

The menu is shaping up to include:
Pea & mint salad
Bourbon honey cornbread bites
Hot brown turkey sliders
Strawberry shortcake

There’s also a possible bonus in the works… I’ve been experimenting with a mint julep using a cider or malt base. If I can get it where I want it, it might make an appearance.

This isn’t formal. No lectures, no pressure. Just good food, good beer, and a room full of people all having the same experience at the same time.

Fancy hats are encouraged. The bigger, the better.
