Playing his first bar gig at age 15, Jim O'Ferrell is a self taught, life long guitar strummer.
Leaving military life and rejoining the civilian world in 2008, Jim expanded his songwriting into the more mainstream areas of rock, alternative rock, Americana, and blues. Joining forces with friend and fellow guitarist Jason Crawford that same year, the pair formed a band, The J.O.B., and have since performed hundreds of live shows, written & recorded scores of songs, and had three singles reach the national AC Top 40 charts in the United States.
Jim supports the DAV (Disabled American Veterans), the USO (United Services Organization), and is a Life Member of the VFW (Veterans of Foreign Wars) Post 6364 in Richmond, Virginia.
