How does fresh-pressed grape juice become wine? Fence Stile owner-winemaker Shriti Plimpton leads an EXCLUSIVE tour and tasting ($25/person) for a limited time. Guests learn about the winemaking process once estate grapes are harvested, crushed, and pressed for juice.
During this Inside the Winery session, Shriti discusses fermentation of grape juice, yeast selection, and her role as a winemaker to convert fresh juice into a new vintage of wine. Tour guests will sample an early-stage wine from the 2020 harvest during mid-fermentation. This is a RARE, limited-time-only peek behind-the-scenes during harvest season.
Guests will also taste a flight of finished wines from a previous vintage year. During the tasting, guests can compare sensory notes and understand the winemaker's craft and decisions involved to produce wine from grape to glass.
