For the first time ever, Fox Run Vineyards invites you to explore the complex flavors of Indian cuisine and Finger Lakes Riesling. It’s no secret how well Rieslings’ delicate flavors illuminate the rich Indian spices we all love. Learn, sip, and enjoy four courses paired with eight different Fox Run Rieslings, including five selections from our extensive library of older vintages. Our chef and winemaking team will walk you through each course with a unique combination of cultural intrigue, tasting references and a little bit of food & wine science. This dinner will be held on April 1st at 6:30pm in our historic barrel room.

Course 1:
Coconut curry soup with yellow lentils and herbed yogurt
Roasted garlic slathered naan
Paired with 2010 & 2020 Dry Riesling
Course 2:
Spicy samosas on lime dressed spinach with a mango & dried cherry dipping sauce
Paired with 2011 & 2021 Semi-Dry Riesling
Course 3:
Biryani rice with saffron, dried fruit, & toasted nuts
Curried chicken, lamb kebob, & butternut squash
Rainbow carrot raita (yogurt sauce)
Cucumber, cilantro, & tomato salad with mixed chili’s, lemon, & verjus dressing
Paired with 2013 & 2014 Semi-Dry Riesling
Course 4 (dessert):
Almond pista burfis, kesar pista jalebis, carrot halwas, & motichur ladoos *All made by Sukahdia’s Indian Bakery. Paired with 2019 Reserve Riesling & 2021 Brillante Riesling
