About Lucine and the Exhibition:
An Artist in Residence at ArtWRKD and raised a few blocks from the gallery in the Newtown Borough. Lucine is virally and internationally known to be the first-and-only artist to work with pantyhose as a 2D fiber art medium. Spanning her career since 2013 on the conceptual grounds of feminism and fashion in fine art. SHEER JOY showcases a compositionally sound body of work, divided into two collections: RIPPING THE SEAMS, exploring the relationship between the history of hosiery with feminist movements; and LIBERATION, reimagining the story of the Wizard of Oz.

About The Afro Poppins:
Aka Chef Glady’s Nyoth. West African, raised in Paris - Now hailing from LA to Newtown: Gladys has curated and designed immersive dining experiencesfor over a decade across celebrity tables and notable companies by the likes of Adidas, NAACP, NextDoor, Tastemade, and more. Ms. Poppins has recently graced ArtWRKD receptions with decadent and sought-after worldly tastings and treats.
About Crux:
Crux is a multidisciplinary artist from New Jersey with a focus on dance/movement art. For 18 years she has been classically trained in over 10 styles including: Hip-Hop, African, ballet, modern, jazz, contemporary, tap, musical theatre, lyrical, and acro/gymnastics.
She attended Temple University and graduated top of her 2020 class with a BFA in Dance, acknowledged as "Most Promising Performer." Currently, she is a teacher, choreographer, and performer offering services physically and virtually. She is co-founder and CEO of Forbidden Fruit, a creative wellness hub that produces and curates immersive experiences for artists.
Her mission is to make movement accessible to intergenerational movers in a way that empowers our inner children - activating the physical to honor the spiritual.
About Greta Karr:
Greta Karr is an internationally published fashion and commercial model based out of Philadelphia, PA. With over 10 years experience, she got her start in Bucks County doing editorial shoots with a local photographer. Later moving to Los Angeles, she was signed with an agency and worked predominantly in commercial and editorial, shooting for many major fashion brands. As an artist, she utilizes her creativity and passion to make visions come to life both on the runway and on canvas. She views herself as a vessel for expression, and is aided by her deep connection to animals and nature.
