Billy Ebeling and the Late for Dinner Band
Billy is tan, rested, and ready for 2021. He created a new recording
of all original songs, covering a plethora of genres, performed on
a multitude of instruments. The band only missed a few open jam
sessions at Knuckleheads Saloon in 2020. This Saturday at 1pm affair
has hosted by Billy for the past 17 years, and he and his Late For Dinner Band have been with us,
here at Holy-Field as long as we’ve had this music series. As a special treat this year, the trio has
become a quartet, and we’re happy to include them in the Holy-Field Summertime Series. “PMA
Winner—Best Blues Band in Kansas City”
Third-generation musicians from a musical family, Billy & his brother Terry Ebeling have traveled
the globe. First as members of the Ebeling Brothers Band, and then honing their chops busking in
an area known as Queen Street in Auckland, New Zealand. Billy stayed on, and spent twelve years
there and in Australia, with his own band, and with the Ebeling Brothers.
