Bargemone Provence Rosé 2020 $17.99
Vivid orange-pink. Strawberry, orange zest and pungent flowers on the perfumed nose. Juicy red berry, citrus fruit and honeysuckle flavors show good depth and a bracing undercurrent of juicy acidity. Opens up slowly on the back half and finishes long and silky, with repeating florality and a refreshingly bitter touch of orange zest.
Ottella Lugana 2020 $16.99
Intense aromas of white spring flower, grapefruit and pineapple leap from the glass. The grapefruit note marches over to the tangy, refreshing palate along with white peach, tropical fruit and crisp acidity. It closes on a saline note.
Produttori del Barbaresco Pora 2016 $74.99
Starting off this tasting of new Riservas from Produttori del Barbaresco is the 2016 Barbaresco Riserva Pora. This is a beautifully elegant and silky wine with a soft entry of wild berry fruit, lilac and wild rose. The bouquet opens gracefully with a fluid, slow-building intensity that feels silky and delicate to all the senses. It holds back from showing any overt or determined level of power, remaining instead silky and smooth throughout. It treads quietly and softly. Production is 13,403 bottles, and fruit is sourced from the Dellaferrera and Manzone family vineyards. I came back to this wine 24 hours after the bottle was open and added one more point to my score. 95pts Robert Parker

This offers a spicy impression with a wealth of intense, rich and dark fruit aromas, leading to a rich, fleshy palate that offers a very vibrant, nicely structured and fresh finish. Neat wine with impressive depth. 93pts James Suckling
