Nothing pairs better than great food, wine, and golf! The "Grapes on the Green" wine experience is a tournament spectator event that will feature wine and golf clinics at the historic Langston Golf Course.
This Juneteenth, guests will enjoy delicious bites from Ivy City Smokehouse and curated wine selections from Flo Wines, Massanois, and Whispering Grapes at Langston Golf Course. Tickets are available for non-tournament golfers to participate in this exciting recreational and networking event, while learning more about the Langston Golf Course Conservancy's mission to champion Langston Golf Course's remarkable cultural and historic past, present, and future. Spectators are welcome to attend and cheer golfers along during this exciting and fun-filled tournament which will be followed by a "Classic Cookout" catered by Ben's Chili Bowl.
Funding from this tournament and spectator event go toward Langston Golf Course revitalization efforts and will also support scholarships for the Langston Junior Boys and Girls Golf Club, which was originally established in 1990, and operates the Langston Junior Summer Program. This program provides scholarships for over 200 boys and girls to participate each summer for six weeks of golf instruction free of charge between late June and August. Tickets are $95 and selling quickly and we encourage you to join us and support this worthy cause: https://www.friendsoflangston.org/events-1/the-2nd-annual-lee-elder-memorial-golf-charity-classic
