Highland Wine and Spirits will be tasting Black Stallion Wines this Friday afternoon! Visit the store to taste their North Coast Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Cabernet, and Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon.
This 2020 limited release is made from a blend of vineyards across Napa Valley. A portion of the grapes are harvested from vineyards in the mountains surrounding Napa Valley, creating wines with intense power and concentration. To balance and soften the blend, grapes from the valley floor regions of Napa Valley are used as well.
This full-bodied wine opens with aromas of black cherry, dried cranberry, and notes of cedar. The concentrated palette features bold, velvety flavors of red cherry and raspberry with a hint of spice. Intense, concentrated mature fruit and integrated tannins extend to an elegant finish with balanced acidity.
The Black Stallion North Coast Chardonnay comes from diverse coastal vineyards, making it an elegant and expressive wine. It starts with yellow pear, apple, creme brulee, and oak aromas. Tasting notes feature ripe citrus, dried apricots, and pineapple.
Black Stallion's Sauvignon Blanc opens with vibrant, tropical aromas of guava, papaya, lemongrass, and honeysuckle, complemented by lime, lemon, tropical fruit, and orange creme flavors. This wine features bright acidity, a light to medium body, and a remarkable finish.
