Join us on Thursday, June 17th for a wine excursion through Portugal! Your intrepid guides for this next Wine Flight at Mission Bay Wine & Cheese will be Eugenio Jardim, US Wine Ambassador for Wines of Portugal, and our own co-owner Peter Granoff, Master Sommelier. Both of these gentlemen just returned from judging the 2021 Portugal Wine Challenge near Lisbon, a week long evaluation of Portuguese wines submitted by participating wineries and tasted by an international team of wine experts. Eugenio and Peter have been both friends and colleagues for years, and this promises to be an evening of delicious wines and undoubtedly some good-natured ribbing. The focus will be on thoroughly modern interpretations of Portugal’s native wine varieties - but with over 200 of those we will just scratch the surface!
The featured flight wines will be served as two-ounce pours and 5-ounce glasses. It will feature two whites and three reds.
The cost of the flight will be $23 per person
