Join us on Wednesday, October 6th as we welcome Darren Delmore, National Sales Manager at Tablas Creek Vineyard to our wine bar, where he will be presenting a flight of their current releases.
Tablas Creek Vineyard is a pioneer of California’s Rhône movement, and the first Regenerative Organic Certified vineyard in the world.
In 1989, after a decades-long friendship, the Perrin family of Château de Beaucastel and the Haas family of Vineyard Brands founded Tablas Creek in the calcareous Adelaida District of Paso Robles, chosen for its similarities to Châteauneuf-du-Pape. Vine material, including new clones of Roussanne, Grenache Blanc, Marsanne, Viognier, Picpoul Blanc, Mourvèdre, Grenache, Syrah, and Counoise, was imported from Beaucastel. Cuttings were made available to the wine community, which helped kick off the modern "Rhône Ranger" movement.
Tablas Creek’s certified organic and Biodynamic vineyards are fertilized by a mobile herd of sheep and alpacas, while soils are built naturally by composting and cover crops. They are the wine world's first to receive Regenerative Organic Certification (in 2020), which certifies their commitment to soil health, carbon capture, water use reduction, animal welfare, and farmworker fairness.
The featured flight wines will be served as two-ounce pours and 5-ounce glasses.
The cost of the flight will be $27 per person or $25 for Wine Club Members
