Fall is in the air, and it’s time to raise a glass to patio season! October is a perfect time of year for enjoying a casual glass of wine on the patio or sipping a favorite vino while dining al fresco. This October, LDV Winery Tasting Room offers plenty of reasons to stop in and cheers to the season, including:

 

Fall/Winter Tasting Room Hours

Beginning Wednesday, Oct. 1

Extended seasonal hours are as follows:

Monday-Thursday: Noon-8 p.m.

Friday and Saturday: Noon-9 p.m.

Sunday: Noon-6 p.m.

Happy Hour: Monday-Friday, 3-6 p.m. Enjoy $7 glasses of wine during this time.

 

Additional specials include half-off bottles of wine and $5 off shareable boards on Tuesday and Wednesday. And don’t forget to treat that special someone to Friday Date Night. From 6-9 p.m. on Fridays, twosomes can enjoy two wine flights and a cheese or meat board for just $41.61 (inclusive of tax and gratuity)—a perfect experience for couples or girls’ night out!

 

Fall Winemaker Dinner

Thursday, Oct. 23 | 6 p.m.

Enjoy a celebration of fall flavors during this fun and engaging dinner hosted by LDV Winery Co-founders Curt Dunham and Peggy Fiandaca. Space is limited and registration is required. The all-inclusive cost for this experience is $100, which includes four courses paired with delicious LDV wines.

 

October Winemaker Talk

Saturday, Oct. 11 | 10:30 a.m.-noon

During this month’s Winemaker Talk, Winemaker Curt will provide a harvest recap and a vineyard update. He will also present a blind wine tasting, encouraging guests to test their knowledge in a fun and unpretentious environment. This event is free for Wine Club members and $20++ for non-Wine Club members, which includes discussion, wine and nibbles.

 

Fall Wine Club Open House

Sunday, Oct. 19 | Noon-5 p.m.

Wine club members are invited to stop in, do a tasting and pick up their latest wine orders. The Fall Wine Club release includes two new wines: the 2022 Viognier and the 2018 Rhyolite Red Blend. Weather permitting, packages will begin shipping the week of Monday, Oct. 27 to out-of-state wine club members.
