Travel through time with Ancient Vines to Modern Wines, a class that traces wine’s journey from its earliest origins to the techniques shaping bottles today.
We’ll explore how ancient cultures grew, fermented, stored, and celebrated wine—and how those traditions laid the groundwork for modern winemaking. You will learn how wine spread across regions through trade, migration, and cultural exchange, and how those movements shaped the styles we drink now.
Expect a classroom-style experience that blends history, storytelling, and modern context, highlighting the shared thread connecting ancient wine drinkers to today’s producers. Oh! and wine tasting, of course! Learn about wine, but also taste it!
