About Mike Meadows:

Mike Meadows is a Nashville, Tennessee-based singer, songwriter, producer, and multi-instrumentalist. Combining his singing talents with his ability to play guitar, banjo, mandolin, cello, & keyboards, he has regularly assumed the role of the "Swiss army knife" in the various projects that he balances. He moved to Nashville in 2007 to pursue work as a song writer and producer. More than a decade and hundreds of performances later along side such greats as Stevie Nicks, James Taylor, Shawn Colvin, Taylor Swift, Ed Sheeran, Neon Trees, and many more, music has taken Mike around the world several times and shown him first hand the universality of a great song and what it can do for the listener. In 2015, Mike released his debut solo e.p., "When You Need Someone, Vol. 1", a project that he co-produced with long-time friend and collaborator Todd Wright (Getaway Car, The Excentrics).

Growing up in a small town in southern Virginia, Mike began playing the guitar at age 8 and was writing songs by the time he was 14. "Music was a big deal to us as kids. If you couldn't throw a football, you played an instrument. That's just the way it was. I'm pretty sure that none of my early songs were any good, but it was the act of putting the song together that first got me interested in something more than sitting around in music stores and learning guitar solos. I realized pretty early that the song is KING."
