Jesse was the first winemaker to make the Forbes “30 Under 30” list and was named a “40 Under 40 Tastemaker” by Wine Enthusiast. His experience spans over two decades of harvests learning from the best producers in the world, including Pétrus, Screaming Eagle, Viña Cobos, Bodega Noemia, and more. 

The Setting Winery sources fruit from some of the most prestigious vineyards throughout Napa and Sonoma Valleys, producing Bordeaux varietal wines that express a delicate balance between purity of fruit and the unique nuances of each site. 

Aperture Winery continues Jesse’s mission to find the top cool-climate spots in Sonoma County to champion expressive Bordeaux style wines. Named after the aperture of a camera lens that changes the amount of light a photographer works with, Aperture sheds light on what Bordeaux varieties in the cooler pockets of Sonoma are capable of. 

This exclusive Wally’s dinner will feature pours of Jesse’s incredible wines paired with an exquisite menu developed by Wally’s Executive chef Ryan Kluver:
