You might not know about Derby Wine Estates yet, but after this dinner you'll love them like we do! Ray and Pam Derby begin their journey in 1998 purchasing 632 acres in San Simeon (that became their Derbyshire Vineyard) after being told they were crazy for planting in such a cold and windy location. Their risk paid off and as their business grew they purchased another vineyard, Laura's Vineyard on the East Side of Paso Robles in 2001. In 2006 they purchased their third and final vineyard, Derby Vineyard in the Templeton Gap and they currently work with 20 unique varietals (including Picpoul, Marsanne, Tempranillo, Mourvedre, etc ) and several clones within! Experience some of these unique varietals with us paired with Chef's exciting pairings! And as it is 4th of July weekend, we are dressing festive...feel free to wear your favorite red, white and blue!
