Chef Esam Shaqir and winemaker Steve Petersen invite you to join them in celebrating the changing of seasons on Thursday, October 1st, for the latest iteration of the Dar Wine Series, featuring four courses paired with local wines from EmmaLily Vineyards.

Nestled in the western edge of Morgan Hill near Uvas Reservoir, EmmaLily Vineyards is a family-run boutique winery producing premier Cabernet Sauvignon from Santa Clara Valley grapes. The name is an honorific of Steve & Laura's two daughters, Emma and Lily, and each member of the family has a wine produced with their name on it.

The word "dar" symbolizes home, warmth, and hospitality. Naturally, brothers Esam and Milad Shaqir of Tamra Grill fame found that to be the perfect name for their expansion into downtown Los Gatos. At Dar, traditional Mediterranean flavors are woven into exceptional dishes that will keep you coming back for more.
