Local Event
The event will start with sparkling drinks and small bites made by Fireside's own Casey Gustowarow at their new 40 acre farm in the heart of the village of Waterford. Guests will then move to the garden at the Walker Phillips House on Second Street where they will enjoy a four course family style dinner cooked by an all star cast of three of DC's best chefs - Nick Wiseman of Little Sesame, Jeremiah Langhorne of The Dabney + Petite Cerise and Rob Rubba of Oyster Oyster. Desserts will feature cakes by Cheryl Strasser of Cowbell Kitchen, gelato by Robb Duncan of Dolcezza Gelato and treats from pastry chef Charbel Abrache of Red Hound Pizza.
The meal is a celebration of Fireside's local food and beverage community. The menu will be veggie forward, featuring Fireside Farm's produce and other local makers - with bread from Meadow Bread and cheeses from George's Mill Cheese. Beverages from Pen Druid Brewery, Quartzwood Farm, Walsh Family Wine and Wheatland Spring Farm + Brewery.
