Coming to the Salon Room for one night only, it’s James Charles’ very first Comedy Night!
On Saturday, June 11th, our brand new Salon Room will open its doors for a night of side-busting laughter and a good time. The doors for this event will open at 7 PM and the chuckling begins at 8 PM sharp! Seating will be open, so arrive early to get a good spot to view the show!
Our show will host two hilarious local comedians:
Mark Matusof:
One of the top comics to come out of Washington D.C., Mark has been described in the press as "funny without being vulgar or nasty" and "going the smarter, hipper direction to the joke." A first generation American, Mark's material ranges from his immigrant family to the aggravations of modern life; from current events to the fragility of the male ego. There’s even a little music tossed in for good measure!
Ben Jones:
Ben Jones got his first laughs as a child who dreamed of being a circus clown. Although an odd path it was obvious he was a born performer. As he grew older and endured the cruel reality that is life, he ditched his backup plan of culinary school and began seriously pursuing a career in stand-up comedy. Flash forward over a decade and you’ll find this well respected and hardworking comic on the road crisscrossing the country and making fans in every town he visits. Ben’s show is a nonstop ride, full of energy and outlandish subject matter. Crowds instantly fall in love with his jovial demeanor, infectious smile, and relatable material. His likability is paralleled by very few in the biz.
