Chocolate & Wine Pairing Class With Sommelier Dani Morris

Saturday February 11th: Come join us for a delicious afternoon pairing wine and chocolate together!

Chocolate and Wine seems to be everyone's dream pairing...it just sounds so romantic, doesn't it? Although these two seem like a match made in heaven, it may come as a surprise that most wines actually clash with chocolate, and there’s a lot of resources out there leading us astray.

Fear not, however, because there are a few fabulous options out there to enjoy chocolate with wine. This is going to be a dessert-focused wine class where Sommelier Dani Morris will be highlighting fortified wines from Port, Sherry, Banyuls, and a few others that are as beautiful with chocolate as they are by themselves.

• A tasting of 5 wines and delicious chocolates that pair with them
• A full class of the history and styles of Port, Sherry, and other dessert wines we’ll be featuring

Event Details: Saturday, February 11th from 1:00-3:00 pm at Midtown Spirits, Wine & Bites.

This is an in-person event taking place in Reno, Nevada.
