What happens with a French chef gets together with an Austrian wine importer and his delicious set of Austrian classic wines? Come taste the exciting results for yourself when Chef Jacques Cooks for Klaus's Austrian Wines at La Cote d’Or on Wednesday and Thursday, March 19 and 20. You’ll enjoy four courses crafted by Chef Jaques to pair with five different Austrian wines. The menu and pairings:

Each dish delivers more than a firm nod towards Austrian cuisine with subtle tweaks from Chef Jacques’s French and global experience to create a delicious match for the wines. Klaus will be there to share the story behind each wine and Chef will walk us through the magic of each pairing.
The cost is $145 per person including tax and tip (excluding reservation fess) and you can reserve your seats through Eventbrite right now. If your plans change, you can cancel for a refund up to 48 hours in advance through Eventbrite as well. If you have any food allergies or special needs, just note them while reserving or email us at the shop so we can let Chef know.
Then join us at 6:45 on Wednesday, March 19 or Thursday, March 20 enjoy the food, wine and company, and leave when you’re done without waiting for a check.
La Cote d’Or Restaurant is located at 6876 Langston Blvd, Arlington, VA 22213, just off Rt. 66 and within walking distance of the East Falls Church Metro station. Parking is available next to the restaurant in the motel lot (ignore the signs – you can park anywhere!). Dress is casual (lederhosen entirely optional) and we promise to not play the soundtrack of The Sound of Music (although we can’t stop you from singing!).
