What would you expect from a winery named for "The Fountain of the Wolf?" Something bold, a little wild, and with a bit of majestic grace perhaps. Which isn't a bad description of the wines of Ch Font de Loup and even of owner/winemaker Anne-Charlotte Melia.

As you'll discover for yourself when you join Anne-Charlotte and taste her wines on Sunday, April 12 from any of three sessions at 1, 2 and 3pm. No fee - just RSVP - to meet Anne-Charlotte and taste an exciting line-up of Southern Rhone beauties, including:

Ch de la Font du Loup Cotes du Rhone Blanc Signature 2024

Ch de la Font du Loup Cotes du Rhone Rouge Signature 2023

Ch de la Font du Loup Chateauneuf du Pape Blanc 2024 (Jeb Dunnuck 94 points)

Ch de la Font du Loup Chateauneuf du Pape Les Demoiselles 2023 (JD 90 points)

Ch De La Font Du Loup Chateauneuf du Pape Le Puy Rolland Vieilles Vignes 2023 (JD 95 points)

These are beautiful wines from one of the highest points in Chateauneuf du Pape, home to a spring that drew thirsty wolves to drink long ago. The organically farmed vineyards are sandy and exposed to the mistral winds - a combination that gives Font du Loup's wines an uncommon elegance to go with classic Rhone Valley power and volume. As Rhone specialist Jeb Dunnuck says, "I always love these releases from the Bachas family, which come from a cooler, sandy terroir on the northern slopes of the La Crau plateau. These are never the biggest or richest wines in a vintage, yet they shine for their incredible purity, finesse, and elegance."

You'll love tasting the wines and meeting Anne-Charlotte at any of the three free tasting sessions held upstairs on the main sales floor. If you can, please RSVP for one of the three tasting slots so we can steer others to the sessions that will be less crowded. We'll will start each session close to the scheduled time and then take time to chat with you and sign bottles as requested. If you miss the beginning of one session, don’t worry – we’ll catch you up after it’s done and before the next slot begins.

A great Sunday wine excursion for you and friends. Join us!
