A Desirous Reading Series

We're teaming up with the gorgeous Wine & Pine series for another pride evening of queer literature, community, and connection. Come sip, swoon, and soak in powerful words from some of our favorite queer voices!

Monday, June 16th

Upon arrival, head to the back of Ten Degrees Bar where you’ll find our cozy setup. You can check in, grab a name tag, and settle in with a glass of wine or your drink of choice.

Drink specials will be available all night
Queer books for sale by Hive Mind Books
Proceeds from the evening will be donated to Hive Mind Books and the Palestine Children’s Relief Fund (PCRF)

The reading will start promptly at 7:30 PM, featuring:

Come early to grab a seat, and stay after to mingle and connect with other queers and book lovers.

This event is free to attend, but you can opt for a donation-based ticket!

All proceeds from these tickets will be split between:

Hive Mind Books – a new queer-run bookstore and community space in Bushwick
Palestine Children’s Relief Fund (PCRF) – providing humanitarian aid and medical support to children in Palestine

About Wine & Pine

Wine and Pine is a reading series focused on explorations of desire. Each month at Ten Degrees Bar in the heart of the East Village, writers read from their work and then participate in a brief in-conversation with Rachel, our hostess. There are also snacks and wine/drink specials alongside homemade baked goods.

About Chardonngay

We gather monthly to create a space for Brooklyn and NYC queers to meet and get to know each other. Our events are open to all individuals of all genders, above the age of 21. No wine knowledge is necessary.

Chardonngay is designed for FLINTA. We prioritize the safety and comfort of everyone. This is a queer space—please respect it.
