For decades there has been a lack of diversity within the top players of the wine industry. Now, while there is greater diversity, it exists in smaller wineries and vineyards often overshadowed by larger household brands. This class will highlight BIPOC and women winemakers—who have been historically pushed to the sidelines—and the trailblazing work they’re doing to shatter old norms while setting new standards of excellence.

Classes are 2 hours long, including a Q&A session with Certified Sommelier, Wine Instructor and Author, Charles Springfield.

What you can expect:

  • 1 Welcome wine
  • 6 Tasting pours of wines by niche producers
  • Palate-cleansing bread & cheese
  • A 20% discount on all wines tasted to use in-store after class

  • High quality and accessible wines from producers around the world.
  • Growth toward diversity in wine.
