We're excited to announce the next dinner in our Local Winery dinner series!
Please join us for our return to local winery dinners! Postponed for the past two years due to covid, Chef Erin is very excited to announce this unique experience focused on our local wineries and vineyards. Enjoy wine selections from our award winning local wineries while taking in the sights of the winery, vineyards and surrounding areas where the wines are produced. This is a fantastic way to enjoy the full romance of winemaking and cultivation. Owners/winemakers will join us for these events to present their creations and share their vision of what making wine in San Diego County means to them.
For our third dinner in this series, we are pleased to be returning to Castelli Family Vineyards in Ramona, with a completely different line-up of wines and pairings from our June dinner. Winemaker Nelson Pizarro creates beautiful wines with a focus on the varietals that grow best in San Diego County. In addition to growing their own vines, Castelli also sources grapes from other areas of San Diego County and a few other special California vineyards. The Castelli family has created a wine paradise in the Western part of Ramona, complete with Tuscan architecture, overlooking the valley and vineyards. This dinner will be held in the lovely Tuscan style winery, which comfortably seats 46 guests. You won't want to miss this fantastic evening of wine, food and conversation.

* Please also note that the winery is in a gated community and there will be a security gate which will require a code to access. Gate codes will be provided to registered guests in their confirmation emails.
Each selection will be paired with its own wine inspired dinner course, prepared by Chef Erin Sealy. Chef Erin specializes in pairing food with wine, with a slightly different approach than most. Prior to creating a menu, each wine is tasted and reviewed and then she creates a food pairing, highlighting the nuances of each wine. This concept creates a dinner and pairing experience with layers of complexity and unique creations which exemplify the enjoyment of each wine. With a passion for food and wine, Chef Erin delights attendees with a detailed account of the pairing concept and cooking techniques that create each course. Expect a fabulous evening of wine, food and educational insights! Seating is limited.
