WHAT: Casa Nuova Italian Restaurant hosts its annual Community Block Party to benefit Purple Pansies mission to conquer Pancreatic Cancer.

The event features a complimentary buffet, live music, and fun games for friends and families. Donations are accepted before and during the event and all proceeds go directly to Purple Pansies Inc., a nonprofit 501(c)(3). 100% of all funds raised, less expenses, go directly towards fighting Pancreatic Cancer in the following ways; emergency grants to support immediate need, scholarships to address legacy it leaves and research and clinical trials to conquer it.

About Purple Pansies

Nonprofit Purple Pansies was founded in 2009 following the death of Maria Fundora’s mother from pancreatic cancer, as she felt called to raise awareness and crucial research dollars for this chronically underfunded but deadly cancer. The mission of Purple Pansies is to offer immediate support to individuals and families affected by pancreatic cancer, while funding research and clinical trials, to conquer it.
