In this class, we take a closer look at this formidable region, its storied history and range of ancient grapes. From the coastline of the Mediterranean to the Apennine foothills, participants will discover the wines Avellino, Taburno, Amalfi, Campi Flegrei, Vesuvius and Cilento. We will dive into the ancient history of this important region and chart the rise of its celebrated sub-region of Irpinia, home to the wines of Taurasi, Fiano and Greco.
