Local Event
Did you know that Cabernet Franc is one of the parent grapes for other beloved (and more globally popular) red wine grapes, such as Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot? Were you aware that Cab Franc can range in flavor from pepper and plum to floral and flint? When was the last time you had a Cab Franc??
If your answers to these questions were "no", "no", and "more than a week ago"/"never?", then it's high time you joined us for a deep-dive into this underrated French grape! In this class, we'll learn all about Cabernet Franc and some of the primary regions that produce it, and we'll try five or six different versions of this wine from around the globe. Don't miss out on a great opportunity to expand your wine knowledge and palate!
The class will be led by Afton Kortz, Barnard Griffin's Wine Club Manager, who is a French Wine Scholar and also holds a Level 3 certification in Wine from the Wine & Spirit Education Trust (WSET).
This event will take place at Barnard Griffin's Vancouver tasting room (665 W Columbia Way, Vancouver, WA 98660) from 6:30pm to 8:00pm on Thursday, November 14th.
Classes are non-refundable within 7 days of the class. If you cannot attend and it is 7 or less days until the class, you may transfer the tickets to someone else. Please communicate any scheduling conflicts with Barnard Griffin (wineclub@barnardgriffin.com).
