Ease yourself through the middle of the week with meat and cheese at Bird & Wolf’s Wine Wednesdays. The fresh-faced Andover bakery by day/chophouse by night welcomes wine-lovers with a special treat – a free charcuterie board with every bottle of wine purchased. Join them in their café between 5:00 and 9:00pm on an upcoming hump day for some vino and a smattering of salumi.
You may want to turn your after-work wine and nibbles into dinner after having a look at chef Chris White’s menu, which includes seasonal goodies like an heirloom tomato salad with burratini, sunflower pesto and aged balsamic, and Berkshire pork with corn succotash, blistered sishitos and baby turnips.
Pro tip: leave some room for dessert – pastry chef Giselle Miller came up in the kitchens of Sel de La Terre and Menton (where she named a semifinalist of the James Beard Award Rising Star Chef of the Year) before landing at Bird & Wolf.
