Bastille Day Celebration at Left Bank Brasserie Menlo Park

At Left Bank Brasserie in Menlo Park on Wednesday, July 14, the spirit of Bastille Day will be most apparent with rustic, authentic French additions to the restaurant's lunch, dinner and cocktail menus, plus festive blue, blanc and rouge decorations, live music (5:00 to 8:00 p.m.) and a unicyclist. The special Plats de la Révolution menu items will be Freedom Fries/$10.00, with caramelized onions, bacon and melted Swiss cheese; French Dip/$19.00 with a Kaiser roll, roast beef, caramelized onions and Comté cheese; and an Apricot Tart/$9.00 with almond crème and pistachio ice cream. The celebratory libations will include a Martini Tower/$14.00 for a Classic, Kir Royal or Blueberry Lemon Drop; and Moët & Chandon/$25.00 in a keepsake flute. All regular menu items will also be served and prices exclude tax and gratuity.
