Local Event
Join Head Winemaker John Skrip III and his two Assistant Winemakers for a three-hour, hands-on class where you’ll learn the basics of the winemaking process and tips and tricks of the trade. Each participant will receive:
– one 5-gallon glass carboy
– airlock and bung
– yeast
– 5 gallons of juice of your choice: fresh-picked and crushed Vidal or Cayuga from our vineyards
At the end of class, you’ll leave with all the supplies needed to begin the fermentation process and the knowledge to complete the job. Your winemaking journey will yield approximately 20 bottles of wine.
