This is a hands-on, beginner-friendly class all about matcha, from whisking the perfect bowl to crafting matcha drinks just like (and better than) cafés. Whether you’re already obsessed or just curious about this vibrant green drink, you’ll leave with the skills to make it at home.

This is more than just a demo class! You’ll actually make your own drinks, taste as you go, and explore the art and techniques behind great matcha. Expect chill vibes, good music, and a welcoming environment to learn and sip together.

Together we will:

• Learn (by tasting and swatching*) what makes matcha special and distinct from teas like sencha
• Debunk myths like "ceremonial" matcha and "grades" in matchas
• Make and taste different matchas and learn our preferences for usucha and koicha
• Develop our own recipes for matcha and dial in ratios and water temperatures
