About The Event:


Our guests will enjoy a five-course menu prepared by Chefs David Sierra and David Cardona exclusively for this event. Each course will be paired with our illustrious wines. Throughout the dinner, guests will enjoy Israel's and Darcy's OPERA show.

First Course

About Israel Lozano:


Born in Madrid, Israel Lozano is a Tenor and a Music Ambassador. He study with the soprano Emelina López and the tenor Alfredo Kraus, Escuela Superior de Canto in Madrid and E.S.M. Reina Sofía of Madrid. Obtain G.P.D. (Graduate Performance Diploma) in Ópera (Honor Mention) at Peabody Conservatory of John Hopkins University, EE.UU. He is a former YAP Domingo-Cafritz Washington National Opera with maestro Plácido Domingo. Israel Lozano is a Winner of three prizes in the International Operalia Competition (Public Price, Opera and Zarzuela). Mr. Lozano had sang as a soloist tenor at the: Washington National Opera, Los Ángeles, Palm Beach, FGO, ABAO-OLBE, Campoamor, Teatros Canal, Teatro Real, Theater an der Wien, Bellas Artes (Mexico), Municipal de Santiago (Chile), Bangkok, Singapore. He sang the principal tenor in La Boheme, Lucia de Lammermoor, Traviata, Rigoletto, Butterfly, Tosca, Aida , Il Postino (Daniel Catán), and Luisa Fernanda (M.Tórroba/Fernandez-Shaw), opposite maestro Placido Domingo performing first time in the history an original Zarzuela in Viena with Placido Domingo.


Israel Lozano had been participating and he had teaching experience in the last few years in Masterclasses, audition presentation, acting, performing, singing, vocal preparation and interpretation for international professional artist and also young students at venues as Hong Kong Performing Arts Center in Hong Kong, Bangkok Opera in Thailand, Singapore Opera in Singapore, Marseille Conservatory in Frances, Teresa Carreño of Caracas in Venezuela, Medellin in Colombia and some others collaborations in Madrid, Spain, among others internationals countries.


Mr. Lozano had been working with maestri as Emilio Sagi, Pablo Viar, Ron Daniels, G. Vick, A. Boadella, Fucho Pereda, J. López-Cobos, A. Zedda, S. Sucharitkul, G. García Calvo, M. Baeza, Ramón Tebar, Oliver Diaz, Domingo o Gustavo Dudamel. Next projects will be some tour concerts in Spain, Malaysia, and a reléase of the film “The Bohemians” by director José Luis R. Cortés, and producers Alvaro Domingo and Rafa Sardina (17 GRAMMYS).


Israel Lozano is the Artistic Director of the new Opera Magallanes ¨No hay rosa sin espinas¨ by Marco Reghezza and Giovanni Scapecchi and libretto by Jose Manuel Nuñez de la Fuente being part of the international celebration of the V Centenary of the first circumnavigations of the Earth completed by Ferdinand Magellan and Juan Sebastián El Cano.


Israel Lozano is happily married to the soprano Darcy Monsalve and both as parents, are very committed for the education of their daughter named Violetta just four years old.


About Darcy Monsalve:


Darcy Monsalve, soprano from Venezuela started her vocal and musical studies at the Simon Bolivar Music Conservatory in Caracas, Venezuela with soprano Sara Catarine. She is a current student of Italian Maestro Vincenzo Spatola. Ms. Monsalve has participated in Master Classes with prestigious international singers such as: Siew Tuan Loh, Jordi Doménech, David Roblou, among others. She has been a soloist in productions and concerts with the Coral Camerata of Caracas under the artistic direction of Maestra Isabel Palacios.


Ms. Monsalve’s professional experience includes singing the principal roles of: Euridice (L´Orfeo by Monteverdi), Susanna (Marriage of Fígaro), Zerlina (Don Giovanni), Lauretta (Gianni Schicchi), Rossina (Barber of Seville), Rosaura (Zarzuela Los Gavilanes), Adina (L´elisir d´amore) and Soprano Soloist in (Messiah), (St. Matthew Passion), (Carmina Burana), among others. She has worked with conductors such as: Alfredo Rugeles, Elisa Vega, Isabel Palacios, Gustavo Dudamel.


Ms. Monsalve has also worked as an assistent director and scenographer with director Fucho Pereda at the Teresa Carreño Theater in Venezuela in Madama Butterfly, Cavalleria Rusticana, I Pagliacci, Rigoletto and La Traviata by Verdi.


Ms. Monsalve also holds a degree in Engineering as well as one in Artistic Abilities as a Creative Pastry Chef.
