Amaro Week at Troquet on South, starting October 28
World Amaro Day is October 28! Amaro is an Italian herbal liqueur, commonly made with herbs, roots, flowers, bark, and citrus peels. It is a popularly used as an aperitif before meals, a digestif after meals, and frankly any other time of day.
Troquet has a HUGE selection of Amaro bottles. “I am excited to enjoy this bitter liqueur with everyone, “ Manager Olga Kiseleva shares, “as the bitter cold starts to creep into Boston”. Amaro Week will be held from October 28 through November 2, featuring $5 Amaro pours.
Guests may purchase over 15 types of Amari. The more popular amari are Campari, Fernet Branca, and Montenegro. The Troquet bartenders will also be pouring Fieldtrip Squash Amaro, Sfumato Rabarbaro, and Italicus, among others. Amari flights will be available. Chef Aaron Lhamon is preparing amaro macarons as treats.
All menu items will be available while supplies last. The bar does not accept reservations; it is first-come, first-served.
Troquet boasts an award-winning wine list curated by owner and sommelier Chris Campbell. Troquet has been providing fine dining to the Boston area since 2002. For inquiries, contact General Manager Jake Tringali at gm@troquetboston.com.
