Nowhere in France or outside it will you find wines more enchanting and full of life than in Bourgogne. (Except Alsace, of course). It’s a bold statement, so come judge for yourself!
Please join us Thursday, April 17th, as we welcome Alex Rodriguez, VP of Sales for Albert Bichot USA, to present the wines of top Burgundy producer Albert Bichot. Bichot is an historic, family-owned company, one of the largest and most dynamic, quality-focussed and sustainability-orientated in the region. Albéric Bichot, from the family’s sixth generation, has led the company since 1996, implementing organic and sustainable viticulture in their vineyards, while collecting Winemaker of the Year awards from Le Journal de Paris and the International Wine Challenge. Bichot farms or purchases grapes from one end of Bourgogne to the other, and owns 107 hectares of vineyards across six estates – Domaine Long-Depaquit in Chablis; Château Gris and Domaine du Clos Frantin (Nuits-Saint-Georges); Domaine du Pavillon (Pommard); Domaine Adélie (Mercurey); and Domaine de Rochegrès (Moulin-à-Vent).
We will be trying five wines, from Chablis in the north to Pouilly-Fuissé in the south, with examples from the Côte de Nuits and the Côte de Beaune in between. Chef Jacques will rise to the challenge as always, with a menu to showcase the vibrancy and complexity of the wines. So come be enchanted!
