Claret. The Classification of 1855. Why what used to be Graves is now called Pessac-Léognan. And what the heck are these “futures” everybody talks about? All these questions and more will be explored and answered during our Thursday, March 2, tour of some of the world’s most famous and prestigious vineyards: the “Left Bank” of Bordeaux.

Our tour will take place through a discussion seven great dry Bordeaux wines, including a stylish white and six reds ranging from deliciously direct Medoc, more intents Haut Medoc, and wines from the “Big 5” communes included in the 1855 Classification. We’ll even have some “classified growth” wines including one with enough age on it to understand why Left Bank Bordeaux is some of the most collectable juice in the world. As always, the wines will be open to taste and you’ll also enjoy light snacks you can nibble on to understand how wine and food play together and offer plenty of Bordeaux geography, history and more.
