A Taste of Pine Mountain - A grand wine tasting and lunch event with an exploration of mountain viticulture.

Dive deep into the cult and artisan wines of Spicy Vines and Pine Mountain Vineyards made by esteemed winemaker, Doug Hackett.

Guests will meet at the Cloverdale Train Depot in Cloverdale where a shuttle will bring you to your final destination - Pine Mountain Vineyards. This is a relatively remote winery location that requires traveling to 2,400 ft. elevation up a one lane road, thus, a shuttle is provided!

Upon arrival, you will be delightfully rewarded with some welcome wines and nibbles while you take in the rustic charm of your surroundings and the stunning views of the Alexander Valley.

Guests will soon head their way to the winery’s barrel room to participate in an intimate barrel tasting experience with winemaker, Doug himself. Learn about the winemaking process and taste your way through choice premium wines and future releases of Spicy Vines and Pine Mountain Vineyards. With that said, you will be treated to an authentic Oaxacan lunch prepared for you by the Carrasco family - a resident family on Pine Mountain who plays a significant role in harvesting and processing all of the Spicy Vines and Pine Mountain Vineyard wines.

Following lunch, grab your glass and hold on tight for a real off-road vineyard adventure to the top of the mountain. Visit the highest planted vineyard site at 3,000 ft., snap a selfie and toast with some Cabernet Sauvignon made off this vineyard before heading back to the winery and shuttle.
