Big Fish started in 2005, looking to continuously provided a better experience by staying on top of the latest seafood trends, and also took pride in being an Ocean Wise Partner.
Open Range opened its doors in 2007 as a premier steak and chop house next door. It embodied the essence of Calgary; cutting edge, but comfortable and unpretentious, mixing modern with tradition, and serving cuts of meat creatively prepared with a variety of flavours.
Rather than operating both businesses independently, they joined forces and combined the restaurant concepts in one location in 2020 – why have one when you can have both?
We’re coming for a fabulous one-off evening, starting with a sparkling reception and canapes, followed by a multi-course premium pairing dinner, celebrating dishes from both land and sea*.
*Alternatives will be offered for those who can’t eat seafood or meat.
