This Exciting Evening on Oakland will truly be 

TWO Tasting Events in ONE

This anticipated event’s courses will be delicious traditional Sicilian dishes. Each one will be joined with a perfectly paired fine wine made in Sicily.

This Very Special Evening on Oakland will feature much more than wine & cuisine. To fully appreciate the wonderfully nuanced flavor of this area, we will also explore a particular Parisian olive oil that embodies its essence.

We are to be joined by a very special guest who will be one of our guides in this flavorful journey.

PAOLO VARVARO grew up in Campobello de Mazara in Sicily. Think about him as a child running around in vineyards and olive groves. Weekends for him were always helping his Papa in the olive groves, pruning, cleaning and harvesting.

After his Papa passed, he and his brother in law inherited the groves . They own about 650 acres of Nocellara del Belice olives in the region of S W Sicily in a valley called Valle del Belice.

PAOLO and Mario decided to import their delicious olive oil to the US and they call it Gold King extra virgin olive oil. It’s an olive oil for the most discerning palate.
