Dallas’ favorite all-local farmers market - Good Local Marketshosts a Howl-oween Costume Contest on Saturday, October 26 (8am-1pm) at White Rock Farmer’s Market.
Bring your canine companions in their Halloween finest for a friendly competition and stop by the information tent for a photo. Voting will take place via Good Local Markets Facebook page with the “People’s Choice” announced on Halloween.
Every Good Local Markets vendor grows or makes what they sell with no distributors, offering produce, artisanal foods and handcrafted goods, vegan and non-vegan all produced within 150 miles of Dallas. Good Local staff visit each farm and ranch to ensure that what is being sold at market is grown locally.
Good Local Market at White Rock Farmer’s Market (9150 Garland Road) is held every Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Good Local Market at Lakewood Village Farmers Market (6434 E. Mockingbird Lane) is held every Sunday from 9:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.
Good Local Markets is a 501 (c)(3) tax exempt nonprofit organization which supports local farmers, ranchers and artisans by providing a public space to sell fruits, vegetables, cheese, meats, hand-crafted foods and other products while serving thousands of residents looking for healthy and locally sourced foods. Good Local Markets mission is to support local farmers and ranchers, incubate small businesses, increase food access, strengthen the local food movement, and create healthy communities.
