Please join us for our next dinner at our North Park location! This 3-course dinner will focus on champagne, including a brut, rose and blanc de blanc. Representative from Theinot/Canard Duchene, Olivier Tonnerre will be joining us for the evening to present these fantastic selections. Chef Erin will present a menu focused around the intricate and slightly lighter pairings which amplify the tasting experience. This will be a great opportunity to learn a bit more about some exceptional Champagne Houses in this prestigious area of France.
* Please note, this dinner will take place on the second floor in event space. A flight of exterior, low-rise stairs is the only way to access this event area.
We're happy to announce the return of 3-course dinners; offering an incredible value at a time when we're all only hearing about increasing costs. Once a month I will offer an abbreviated, 3-course dinner at either HardiHood in North Park or Drift Cafe in Pacific Beach. This equates to a full meal (appetizer, two light entrees and complimentary dessert) along with 3 paired wines, still 3oz pours of each. It is the same great concept of wine pairing with discussions on both the wine and food.
Each selection will be paired with its own wine inspired dinner course, prepared by Chef Erin Sealy. Chef Erin specializes in pairing food with wine, with a slightly different approach than most. Prior to creating a menu, each wine is tasted and reviewed and then she creates a food pairing, highlighting the nuances of each wine. This concept creates a dinner and pairing experience with layers of complexity and unique creations which exemplify the enjoyment of each wine. With a passion for food and wine, Chef Erin delights attendees with a detailed account of the pairing concept and cooking techniques that create each course. Gouda Stuffed Chicken Breast Wrapped in Prosciutto and Topped with Herbed Panko and Chef Erin's Maple Bourbon Bacon Jam + Brie Cream Drizzle. Served with Wild Rice + Couscous Mélange and Haricot Vert in Lemon-Yuzu Beurre Blanc
