Dear friends of Winefest at St Michaels, we are having another exciting event the first weekend in November! We will be featuring some of the great wines from all the regions of France including Burgundy, Bordeaux, Champagne, Loire, Alsace, Rhone, and France Sud. We have especially chosen this weekend so that you can stock up your cellar for the holidays!

Every ticket holder will have a purchase voucher valued at $100 as long as $300 or more worth of wine is purchased. And we will be offering wines priced at $25 to $400 per bottle with volume discounts as well. Many of these wines have very limited availability and in some cases we have all which is available in Maryland. Wines which can be “laid down” for years as well as wines to drink today will be here for your tasting and purchasing pleasure. In addition, the Old Brick Inn has library wines from Bordeaux which will be available for purchase.

If your preference is the wines of Bordeaux, Burgundy, France Sud or anywhere else within the country, we will have wines for you to taste. The Sancerre from Loire, The great whites and reds from Burgundy and Bordeaux, the Alsatian whites, the Rhone reds, the unique wines of France Sud, all here for a wonderful weekend of tasting and buying.

Both Saturday and Sunday will include tastings of 15-20 different wines each day. Two separate times will be offered each day, and the attendees at the early time on Saturday will attend the later time on Sunday. Our suggestion is to book your lodging for Saturday and Sunday evenings if at all possible. If you cannot stay Sunday evening, then choose the later time on Saturday which will allow you to attend the earlier time on Sunday. The early time will begin each day at 11am and the later time will begin at 2pm. Each tasting will be about 2.5 hours. Lodging purchased at the Old Brick Inn includes your tickets to the event and your $100 purchase coupon.

If you have attended Winefest VIP events in the past, you are already aware of amount of fun you will have. If you have not attended before, please be aware that these events will consist of tasting wines and listening to presentations by experts who know these wines better than anyone you might come in contact with normally. We have invited them to come and provide you with countless information which leads to an even better appreciation of the wine.

 Be Aware: You will be tasting different wines both Saturday and Sunday starting at 11AM or 2PM and each session will be a seated, curated event.  As you taste, you will be able to compare and discuss taste profiles with the staff. Each session includes food accompaniments with paired wines being tasted as well. We expect the early sessions to continue until around 1:30 and the late sessions to end around 4:30PM each day. All of the wines tasted will be retailed at special WineFest pricing both Saturday and Sunday. Some of the wines tasted are often not available in Maryland. More information and tickets are available for purchase at www.winefestatstmichaels.com.
