We are excited to announce our 2022 Dinner Series featuring local food and drink and music! A trifecta!

Chef Meagan White has been doing a unique on farm dinner at Carriage House Farm. Chef White has worked with Carriage House Farm for the last decade and has done an intense program with the Edward Lee Initiative in Louisville, KY and has worked with Chef Suzy Deyoung's La Soup, Karrikin, and currently, Urban Stead Cheese. With a focus on fermentation she is now starting up Aye Mami Umami!

This dinner will have live music featuring the fingerpicking and fiddle tunes of Joe Macharet!

FAQs

Is the food served 100% from Carriage House Farm?

In most cases, all the produce is from our farm. Most animal-based proteins are not, though they are often sourced from neighboring farms or farms with which we have close ties.

Can we bring our alcohol to the dinner?

While bringing your own adult beverage was once a staple of past dinners, this has ended as of January 2022. With the opening of the Lost Bridge Beverage Co. and the onsite liquor license, you are now no longer legally allowed to bring wine, beer, and liquor from off-site. We will now offer a wine pairing (which sometimes includes cocktails). We will also have a full bar from which to order drinks: wine, beer, hard cider, cocktails, liquor, and non-alcoholic items.

Do you regularly supply the chefs that work on your farm?

With rare exception, yes, we do. The entire dinner series is, in a way, a “local label” bringing the relationship we have with these chefs full circle, allowing guests a chance to see where their food comes from.

Is it organic?

Technically, it is not, as we are not certified organic. We do, however, follow organic practices.

Can the chef accommodate food allergies and/or dietary restrictions?

In most cases the chef, if given appropriate time, can plan around a guest's needs. Please let us know immediately, when tickets are purchased, if there is a food allergen or dietary restriction.

Will you provide a menu to guests for the event?

We try to do this within 72 hours of the event. It is not something we guarantee as menus change and not all chefs provide a menu prior to the event.

What is appropriate dress for these events?

We call it farm casual. Carriage House Farm is a working farm, and because of this we recommend not wearing heels or open-toed shoes. The dinner will be open-air as long as weather permits and as the seasons vary, so does the dress. Wear what you feel comfortable in. Hats are welcome!

Is the dinner site handicap-accessible?

Yes. This dinner series will be held at our new building on Lawrenceburg Road and that building is handicap accessible.

Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event?

Alcohol will be served, so we request that all guests be 21 or older.

What can/can't I bring to the event?

No pets are allowed. No smoking is permitted during dinner at the table.

What if something comes up and I cannot attend? May I gift my tickets to someone else?

You can refund your tickets at any time up to seven days before the event. Keep in mind that many of these dinners are weeks, often a month, in planning. You can give your tickets as a gift, just please notify us and the new guests so that our pre-dinner communications go to the correct person.

What if it rains?

So long as the building is accessible, these dinners will carry on rain or shine. Should anything prevent the building from being accessible, we will let guests know and refund ticket purchases.

How do I find out about future dinners?

Join our mailing list. All attendees are automatically added to our event e-mail list which also includes a monthly update on what is going on on the farm. Any guest can opt out of this e-mail by unsubscribing via Mailchimp.

Where can I contact the organizer with any questions?

If you have any questions regarding this dinner or the series, please contact Justin Dean by phone (513) 467-0096 or via e-mail at justin@lostbridgebeverage.com
